VACATION TO BANJARMASIN

In 2018, my family members and I took a vacation to Banjarmasin, including my mother, older sister, older brother and friend. We only vacationed for two days, from Saturday to Sunday. Because on Monday my older sister has to come to work. While there we only spent our vacation time for sightseeing and shopping.

Two years ago my family and I went to Banjarmasin for a vacation. We used a car to get there. We depart from Palangkaraya Saturday at 07.00 in the morning. The trip took about four hours and we arrived at around 11 noon.

Once we were there, we headed straight for the hotel to rest. After a few minutes of rest, we immediately showered and got ready for a walk around the city of Banjarmasin.

The first place we visited was the traditional market called Ujung Murung Market, to get there we only used a pedicab because the accommodation and the market were very close. While in the market we shop for culinary and clothing, Ujung Murung market is a famous market with very cheap and affordable prices so we buy a lot of clothes for our closest relatives. After shopping, we immediately went to the hotel to shop. Because we have to go to the next place.

The second place we visited was Duta Mall, Duta Mall is the biggest shopping center in the city of Banjarmasin. And in this place, we also shop for culinary and clothing, but not as much as we bought before. Because this place is rather expensive and we only buy a little, I buy shoes and bags. After we shop and walk around Duta Mall, suddenly I take a picture together.

My older sister: Eh, let's take pictures first.

Me: Ah, shame a lot of people.

My older sister: What are you embarrassed about, we only take pictures.

Me: Later you wait for a little lonely person.

My older sister: If you wait for a lonely person later it will be too long and this will be a memento too.

Me: OK if so.

During the photos, I suddenly thought of inviting my family to take a walk in the park which was very popular at that time.

The popular park at that time was Bekantan Park, when we arrived at the park there were many people. It turned out that we visited coincided on a Saturday night so people looked crowded. We parked just walking and sitting, because we were tired. Not long after we decided to return to the inn.

The next day at 09.00 am. We tidy up and get ready to return to Palangkaraya. On the way home, we stopped by the Banjarmasin gift shop to take home.

So, during our two day vacation in Banjarmasin we just went out and shop. And we also visited several shopping centers and parks in the city of Banjarmasin.
